Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions apply to all building, construction, repair, maintenance and related services supplied by K A'court Building Contractor (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).
By accepting a quotation, instructing us to start work, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Quotations and Acceptance

All quotations are valid for 60 days unless otherwise stated.

A contract is formed when you confirm acceptance of our quote in writing (including email, message, or signed quote).

Quotes are based on information available at the time and may be revised if the scope of works changes.

Quotes include only the work specifically listed.
3. Scope of Work

We will carry out the works described in the quotation.

Any additional work must be agreed in writing and may be charged separately.

We reserve the right to refuse unsafe or non-compliant work.
4. Pricing and Payment

Payment will be made via stage payments, unless otherwise agreed.

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.

We reserve the right to suspend work where payments are not made when due.
5. Materials

Materials remain the property of K A'court Building Contractor until invoices are paid in full.

Material costs may change due to supplier price increases or shortages. We will notify you where possible.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the property

Provide water, electricity and toilet facilities where reasonable
-
Obtain required permissions (planning permission, building control approval, etc.) unless agreed otherwise
-
Remove or protect personal belongings near the work area
7. Start Dates and Delays

Start dates are estimates unless agreed in writing.

We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply shortages, other trades, or events outside our control.
8. Standard of Work
We will carry out work with reasonable skill, care and to current industry standards.
9. Variations and Extra Work

Any additional or variation of work will be priced and agreed in advance before work is carried out, wherever reasonably possible.
10. Work Guarantee
We provide a workmanship guarantee.

11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud

Any rights you have under law
Subject to this:

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

Our total liability is limited to the contract value
12. Insurance
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance.

13. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law.

14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay due to events beyond our reasonable control.
15. Termination
Once work is agreed, any costs incurred must be paid in full.
This includes (but is not limited to):

Pre-ordered or specially ordered materials

Labour or works completed up to the date of termination

Non-refundable supplier or subcontractor costs
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
